Hi all,
as I often use Skype I have a headset permanently connected to my PC.
Hence all 'noise' the PC make goes through the headphones.
I had a problem the other day with the microphone and got that sorted somehow but since then the headphones remain silent for any Flash movies.
They work with WMP and Real Player, but no Flash movies (youtube etc).
Anyone any idea?
I tried the settings for Flash by right clicking on the movie but there are no options for the speakers.
I'm sure its a problem with the settings but I am lost. |

Hey city, it's weird that sounds in Flash player is not working. You can right click on any Flash movie and that shows some settings for Flash player. Maybe sounds are disabled there?
If that's not the case, are you using the latest Flash player? If not, I suggest you install the latest one. You should be able to do that in Firefox. Also, if you didn't restart your computer since then, do so, that might help. And uninstall and reinstall Flash if everything else fails.
If you still see the issue, let me know and I'll ask people at work. I work for the company that owns Flash |

Hi Mete,
thanks for your suggestions. I've already asked around the 'PC freaks' in our company but to no avail.

The software list says its Adobe Flash Player 9 ActiveX. No idea if thats the latest version. AND if I click on uninstall it wouldn't do anything!
So can't uninstall it from there. And directly on the hard drive in Explorer under Adobe I don't find it at all. The deeper I look into this the more confusing it gets...
