MOVING AVATARS

The moving avatars are nice and fun but many people have mentioned that they play havoc when you are connecting via dial up, my thoughts are maybe we should not allow them as avatars for the reason i gave, what does everyone else think.

As long as they're small in bytes terms, it shouldn't be a problem.

There is an addon /hack that might be one way forward

Basically allows (on a per users basis) for you to turn of the avatar (or sig) of any other given user.

Thoughts?

I have nailed it - I think :)

There is now a new button on each users posts just before their 'profile' button. Clicking this turns off that users avatar and sig file (for you only). The button then changes to a red version which can be used to turn them back on again.

Phew !

The new button is a bit close to the profile button for my liking but thats a small issue.
