What does the media say? Who stole Papadopoullos corpse?
Well actually who cares!!! when the soul leaves, the body is just matter but ofcourse the event of stealing the corpse of a former president will hit the headlights of the press so what was the insentive of the thieves, nationalism or ...?
Rumours say it was Turkish Cypriots that did it, but why would they?
Anyone has a say

I didn't pay much attention for this development but the impression I got from this is that, the people who have done this are not ordinary people.
Well, if you go with the rumours...I just don't get it why Turkish Cypriots would do such a thing? Of course, he was not a popular figure in the north but still, it doesn't explain why would any Turkish Cypriot would do this. I just don't think that it has anything to do with the Turkish Cypriots.
I tend to agree with what Christofias has said, that it is a provocation from the people who don't want a solution. If this stealing did not occur, then only a few people would have remembered that it was his anniversary of death. By doing this, even though he is not around any more, his name is out there again in the headlines, his stance is brought back into the minds of the people, as an alternative to Christofias' stance. Or something like this. |

No I don't go with the rumours, I can't see why would a Turkish Cypriot take the corpse of the former Greek Cypriot president. My guess is that whoever did it, their goal was to destruct the possitive climate in the negotiations between the two leaders, and I believe that the finger pointing at Turkish Cypriots suits that purpose. |

Sounds very resonable to me in the current climate.
And they are not anywhere near solving the case, more than two month later...... |
