Some lines from Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi :
Dissolver of sugar,disolve me,
if this is the time.
Do it gently with a touch of a hand,or a look.
Every morning I wait at dawn. That's when
it's happened before. Or do it suddenly
like an execution. How else
can I get ready for death?
You breathe without a body like a spark.
You grieve, and I begin to feel lighter.
You keep me away with your arm,
but the keeping away is pulling me in. |

You are welcome City. I have just opened one of my birthday presents and was delighted to have received another Jesse Cook CD. This one is his "free fall" album and am looking forward to listening to it. Will let you know what I think... |

Sooner or later...
it had to be done...
that the liquid love joining us...
would one day evaporate..
and fall like a morning mist...
somewhere,
between me and you... |

Happy Birthday Zan: You know I love your stuff:
Hope to catch up one day in Cyprus or Australia:
I am in the studio putting down some new tracks with a new band:
I have Rose Tattoos bass player, Johnny Farnhams drummer and my old guitarist who just got back from LA with Tommy Lee:
This CD will be a cross between Whitesnake and Foreigner with a Little Van Halen guitar work:
cheers |

I am sad that people, for many reasons grow apart City. Where for example, are all those old members who gave life to this forum? G/Cs and T/Cs. It seems life itself and its everyday problems gradually takes over.Too much work and other responsibilities keep many of us away from a forum originally designed so that we could get together, discuss our national and other issues and be part of things bigger, common important matters, other than our every day routine. Maybe we got tired. maybe we have given up and accepted things as they stand. |
