I'm sure most of us who read Cyprus news know about the plane crash at Kolossi, in which 2 military pilots died (from all the reports I've read it sounds a bit like the pilot was showboating to impress his fiancee...)
What I'm confused about is this feature on Politis' website, which is a film about the PC-9 aircraft involved in the crash and is accompanied for some reason by a 1980s hi-energy rock soundtrack... surely pictures of the plane would have been enough

Not really sure what the music's for, trying to make it a bit more dramatic I spose. If I read the article correctly the two guys that died in the crash actually took that video. Anyway my condonlences to both families, the younger one of the two Fotis actually lived on the same road as me.  |

Ohhhh... I guess I can see the link now... makes the thesis that they were showing off a little more credible as well. I can't see why they would have been circling above Kolossi for a military exercise. |
