Yes boys Led Zeppelin are reforming to pay respect to their close Friend and Atlantic Records ex boss Ahmed who was a Turk: Yes a Turk! And the money will be donated to set up music workshops in Britain, the USA and Turkey!
Great Work! I will try to get their on the 26 of November: I just hope they use their old road manager Colin Hart who is a Friend of mine!
Last Time I saw Led Zep was at Kooyong in 1972 and I was 10 years old!
I have some great photos I took!

Boys here is some info on Ahmet Ertegun! What a great man and a great insight into Rock music he had!
He discovered many famous bands! Read all about him!
He is also in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!

He indeed was a legend and unfortunately not many Turks know of him because he was so successful in the US that he didn't bother with mediocre Turkey and Turkish musicians. When he died, PBS (a major US channel) showed a 2 hour documentary about him which made me proud as a Turkish Cypriot to say the least. |
