Sure sounds like you have learned loads too!

I knew that you would respond this way but anyway, I never claimed that our side is any better than yours! I'm one of those who believe that both Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots are responsible for today's mess more than anyone else and any other country. What I cannot stand is Greek Cypriots who cannot get off their high horses and blame Turkey/Turkish Cypriots constantly for all their misfortunes. I'm not talking about you personally, I'm talking about the number of Greek Cypriots I have observed in the last 5-6 years and their attitudes towards Turkey/Turkish Cypriots with minimal self reflection on their part.

And I never claimed that the Greek Cypriot side are angels and innocents in all this. You keep claiming things I never said. Is this your favorite tool in arguments?

What we differ on, is the fact that you claim that the crimes commited by Greek Cypriots can be equated with the crimes commited by Turkey and Turkish Cypriots. I say that such a comparison is impossible. The very scale and magnitude of the crimes committed by Turkey and by extension the Turkish Cypriots overwhelmingly dwarf those by Greek Cypriots.

You can't compare a handful of murders and forced dislocations to the invasion, occupation, ethnic cleansing and cultural destruction of almost half of Cyprus.

Sadly, it is quite comparable by proportions.

But the circle that goes on and on has to do with the aims of a State with its Army, and a People who have only begun their dialog, after thirty years of fawlty talks from their political leaders, in ending this impasse.

Xenos, I want you to remember that Blacks were dragged behind trucks in chains and drowned by good ol' boys back in the USA, in 1964.

We have gone a long way since then, all of us, and I respectfully implore you to let 'it' go. Humor us without spite, for all our sake, be helpful to our cause.

I’ve bet my balls on this and eventually I didn’t lost them and I think what the risk he took is a sign for his despair for the situation that (for now) I believe what if he elected (best wishes even if eventually I will not vote him) he will do everything he can to save us from this ridiculous situation.
