you worry about a corpse in public and then we can worry about alleged corruption
but then again corpses in public are so frequent in Turkey that its just another daily occurance.
and to address the issue of instability in Cyprus, its not the allegedly corrupt politicans that are causing and perpetuating the instability, its the 30 thousand strong Turkish force and the 100 thousand strong illegal Turkish settlers that lie at the crux of the instability problem. |

DM spoke again! You know he has been to Turkey a number of times and every time he visits Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Mersin...wherever he goes in Turkey, he sees these corpses in public...It's kind of like Sudan or Rwanda in Turkey, you know? |

Yep correct again the 30000 Turkish Troops who have to Guard INNOCENT civilians to prevent Nationalistic Militant's like you from Killing and Pillaging as you tried and to some extent achieved between 1963 - 1974  |

Nobody is brainwashed in Cyprus but both sides have fears and both sides have little sympathy for the other side and nobody seems to care about solving the root of the problem, i.e. mistrust. That's why we have the Cyprus problem, not the Turkish army, or the evil imperial powers, or anything else. |

I think you are living in dream land , your comment is quite distatefull , you are implying that the ENOSSIS dream never existed , that dream is still very much alive today via Tpap , and after the Coup in 1974 the Turkish Army was invited into Cyprus because of the dream , That dream was crushed very quickly and today you think the Turkish Cypriot will somehow just roll over and accept that Tpap and the Gov in the south want the well being of all ( including T/C's ) Dream on The Leopard never changes its spots in the wild so what makes you think Tpap can be TRUSTED |

yes t pap want to abandon his presidensy to see cyprus united with greece.isnt absolytely logical?so you say that tyrkish army invaded because Turkish Cypriot have invited him to take 37% of cyprus and ethnic clean 200.000 Greek Cypriot because 82% of cypriots wanted union with greece and not because Turkey had geostratical reasons to occupie north cyprus?when you will return back to the Republic of Cyprus you can elect a president that serves your interests too. |

Well put Mete, straight and to the point. That's what I was saying all along.
PEOPLE will make the difference. They will/need to learn to go along, get to know the 'others', meet them on a daily basis. Only then, and this process is a long one (see Germany), will the problem be solved.
I wish more people that actually live in Cyprus would think as you do, Mete. |
