Just got back from the game against charlton , we did enough to get the win , we were a bit soft in front of goal but two bits of class sealed the win for us .
I have to congratulate all the Tottenham Fans for the support that they gave the team today and every week , and we are definately the best supported club in london,
Anyway we got the three points today and we hopefully should qualify for Europe this week , Two games left and both at home ,

Match Report here ;
Jermain Defoe's late strike and a wonderful opener from Dimitar Berbatov took us a step nearer European qualification with a 2-0 win at Charlton on Monday night.
Berbatov stamped his class on the encounter as early as the seventh minute with a fine solo goal before Defoe's 20-yarder looped over Scott Carson to secure the three points in injury time.
Martin Jol made two changes to the side that started up at Middlesbrough last time out, with Aaron Lennon and Teemu Tainio returning to the team in place of Hossam Ghaly and Steed Malbranque.
It was a fairly highly charged atmosphere inside the ground ahead of kick-off as the home club sought to stir up the crowd with a spot of opera in a bid to help the team stave off relegation. A rendition of Nessun Dorma was the final salvo before referee Mr Halsey sounded the whistle to begin Charlton's final home game of the season.
There was plenty of snap and crackle in the early exchanges, with Tainio providing most of the bite from our midfield quartet that was anchored by Didier Zokora, with Jermaine Jenas his speedy sidekick in the middle.
The stage was set to see who would net our 100th goal of the season in all competitions and we had to wait until just over six minutes to discover who would score the milestone goal. Ledley King set Berbatov on a sprint down the left flank and the striker went on to spin Talal El Karkouri before accelerating past the defender and slipping the ball beyond Scott Carson.
It was an 11th league goal of the season for Berbatov and his 22nd in total. The Bulgarian, jointly named Barclays Player of the Month with Robbie Keane over the weekend, also had two of his goals nominated for Match of the Day's Goal of the Month competition for April.
It is the first time for 20 years that 100 goals have been recorded in a season, the previous time being the 1986-87 campaign when Clive Allen accounted for 49 of the of 109 in 57 games.
Charlton were rocking and further punishment needed to be administered to a team that would surely rally at some point.
Tainio had a shot gathered by Carson before a minor scare at the other end - via a set-piece - resulted in Paul Robinson foiling El Karkouri. Charlton began to pose something of a threat as the clock ticked towards the half hour point and Zheng Zhi did have a good chance to level from inside the area. Eight minutes before the break Darren Bent rounded Robinson, who forced him wide, and the England striker crossed onto the head of Alexandre Song. The Cameroon midfield man leapt into the air after his effort, but out of frustration and not joy as his header drifted wide.
Berbatov provided Carson with a little test in the opening minutes of the second half with a shot from distance, with the beginning of the second period seeing one change in the shape of Anthony Gardner for Ricardo Rocha, who appeared to be struggling with an injury.
There were a couple of close calls for Charlton, who were not enjoying the territory they required with 30 minutes remaining in their penultimate game of the season. They regularly looked like they might concede further goals, but the final pass from our own team saw us not gain the advantage that the control exerted in the game perhaps deserved.
There was a big shout for a penalty against Michael Dawson when the centre half took the ball in a challenge against Zheng Zhi and Keane was then forced to clear his lines under considerable pressure from the resulting corner.
Lennon was replaced by Malbranque with 29 minutes remaining before Charlton went for broke with the introduction of strikers Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lloyd Sam - with only one forward making way.
The boys continued to hold sway in a contest that didn't really have the do or die feel to it that you might have expected from the home perspective. There was resignation in the stands and it was the noise from the travelling Spurs army that filled the air as we sought a fifth away win of the season.
King deflected Sam's effort just wide and Keane hacked away from a dangerous spot but the home side were simply launching it forward in the latter stages, Dawson and King mopped up manfully.
Indeed, there were a number of chances for us to counter and we finally put Charlton to the sword as the clock ticked into added time. Defoe made a vital touch to Berbatov centrally and the striker returned the compliment perfectly, 'JD' then ran 20 yards or so before taking aim, the ball flicking up off Diawara, over Carson and home. Job done.

Quite a bad night at the Lane , just got home after watching the Yids play quite a good side but we just couldn't get going in the first half , but second half was much much better , the atmosphere was again Excellent
A goal on 66 minutes from Jermain Defoe ensured a share of the spoils after Blackburn Rovers took a first half lead at the Lane.
It was an 18th goal of the season for the diminutive striker and it was a much needed one after a robust Rovers made life more than difficult in the first hour and a Benni McCarthy header was the difference at the break in a game that really struggled to get going.
It was not a particularly eventful start to the fixture that marked Sky's 1,000 Premiership live broadcast, Defoe - recalled to the side - was forraging around in attack, while Steed Malbranque and Anthony Gardner were also in the starting line-up.
Malbranque's evening did not last the distance in a meeting that was like a cagey sparring session, he suffered an injury in a challenge from Aaron Mokoena and was forced off after 28 minutes and replaced by Hossam Ghaly.
Dimitar Berbatov was thrilling the crowd with a number of sublime touches and passes, but the delivery of those around him was not matching up in the first third with Blackburn pretty resolute in defence.
They were pretty sharp in attack on 31 minutes when Morten Gamst Pedersen swept in a cross from the left that was met firmly at the far post by the head of Benni McCarthy, who planted past Paul Robinson to give his side the lead.
You couldn't suggest it was against the run of play as neither side had really established it at this point. Blackburn could have doubled their advantage minutes before the break when McCarthy attempted to chip Robinson after a determined charge from Stephen Warnock.
There was a deflected attempt from Lennon that did not really trouble Brad Friedel in the steady rain and the whistle sounded on a first half that was far from memorable.
The was a more direct purpose to much of Aaron Lennon's work in the opening minutes of the second period, but the clear chance came from a free-kick on the edge of the area after Defoe was felled by Pedersen. Berbatov struck and Freidel managed to parry the ball in the air before clutching at the second attempt.
Our game needed a spark to kick-start it and the crowd were quick to call for Keano and substitute Ghaly was the unlucky one to make way and did not react well to the change.
Shortly after a Pedersen free-kick from the right was rocketed onto the bar by the head of Christopher Samba, but the next goal was to be ours.
Keane played in Berbatov, who spun inside the area and drilled in a shot that Freidel failed to hold and the lurking Defoe was on hand to apply the finishing touch in front of an open goal.
The display was galvanised from then on and surges forward seemed to carry more intent. The excellent Keane chipped through into thre path of Defoe inside the area and the little hitman sought to round Freidel but was forced slightly wide and ended up sending in a teasing cross in the direction of Berbatov, Friedel still struggling for position. Berbatov was about to plant head on ball when Warnock made a goal-saving interception.
Michael Dawson had half a chance in the closing stages when a Didier Zokora free-kick was headed down in the area by Pascal Chimbonda and the big central defender was first on the scene, but could not steer goalwards.
We thought we had it won in the final moments of the 90 minutes when Chimbonda supplied Keane and the striker spun and struck past Friedel. The ball agonisingly came out off the inside of the post.
Jason Roberts was sent off following a double booking late in stoppage time, but it was too late to really make an impact on the game.
A point put us level with Everton on 57 points, but still in sixth place due to a considerable gulf in goal difference. There remains all to play for on Sunday.

Match Report As Follows
UEFA Cup football will be back on our fixture list for next season after qualification was assured with a 2-1 victory over Manchester City at the Lane.
Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov both netted in the final game of season 2006-07 and, although City did halve the deficit, victory was rarely in doubt and Jermain Defoe even missed a penalty with five minutes left.
So it was a winning debut for the new all-white kit to mark the Club's 125th anniversary and a second fifth place Premiership finish was duly recorded.
It was pretty much one-way traffic from the off with Aaron Lennon in particular tomenting his marker with a couple of dashes down the left that left Nedum Onouha trailing. However, the opening goal came from a more central route on nine minutes when Jermaine Jenas - restored to the side after a back injury - chipped forward into the area and the quickest to react was Keane, who went on to drill past Andreas Isaksson to make it 22 goals for the season in his 200th appearance in a Spurs shirt.
City did not bring much to the final day party in the first 20 minutes until Darius Vassell found himself in a yard of space eight or nine yards out from goal in a central position. The former England striker got the ball out of his feet quickly and hit goalwards, only to be denied by the superb reactions of Paul Robinson.
The visitors were dealt a further blow just before the half hour mark when Sylvain Distin was forced to withdraw through injury and the former Liverpool man Didi Hamann came on, with City reshuffling at the back.
Their discomfort on such a wet afternoon was increased after 31 minutes when Berbatov first came close to playing in Lennon before taking matters into his own hands and firing past Isaksson to leave the ball nestling in the bottom right hand corner for his 23rd goal of the campaign.
Five minutes before the break City conjured up a goal out of almost nothing. Hamann floated in a harmless looking cross from the right, but Emile Mpenza gave Pascal Chimbonda the slip and got in front of the full-back to nod across Paul Robinson and into the net. It was the sort of goal that has proved such a frustration this term.
City should have been as good as out of it, but they got a lifeline to offer some encouragement to the team in blue going into the interval.
There was a statement of intent from Keane just a minute into the second half when he arrowed a shot just wide of Isaksson's top left hand corner, although it was City who came back into it strongly and enjoyed strong spells of possession. A DeMarcus Beasley cross and Mpenza header had Robinson reaching for his top corner during this City rally.
The game then lost a bit of life with the ball not really progressing from the central areas with any real decisive quality. Steed Malbranque was introduced in place of Lennon in a bid to add some artistry from the flank.
A quickly taken throw from Chimbonda sent Berbatov scurrying away down the right on 76 minutes and, were in not for the speedy in retreat Richard Dunne intercepting, Keane would have been celebrating a second of the afternoon.
It was come in No.10 to a huge ovation with ten minutes remaining when Keane made way for Jermain Defoe, but it was the unlikely figure of Didier Zokora who had the next big say when he was bundled over by Dunne on 85 minutes.
Referee Mr Bennett pointed to the spot, but Isaksson guessed right when Defoe stepped up and the striker then blasted the rebound over the bar.

MAN U... we are the champions
These year my teams seem to be going well.
APOELARA won the championship in Cyprus,
Manchenster in England
Real might win primera division
Milan I am sure will win the Champions league.
Unfortunately Panathinaikos didn't do that well in Greece
Anyway Tottenham did well and finishing 5th is one of the best seasons for them. Good luck in UEFA cup |
