| Am I to take it that the smelly breathed fat unshaven Greek kebab shop owner (that I went to only once) is also typical then. |
Zan, no offence but as far as fat, smelly breathed, unshaven kebab shop owners go, turks have a monopoly. |
Well they must be concentrated around my area then. Perhaps they were cast out of the north London massive area. |
yes.. they migrated to Germany |
.....while yours have migrated to France. |

I lost the thread on who Dream was talking about so I did not want to answer. I know he hates Turks but if it was a follow on from my post then he unwittingly attacked Greeks???????????????????????????? |

in an attempt to indeed learn who these turks are, i came across some really interesting books :
William Hale : turkish politics and the military (1994)
excellent account on the history of the turkish army and pretty detailed on the three military coups
Omer Taspinar : kurdish nationalism and political islam in turkey - kemalist ideology in transition (2005). very elegantly written, easy read ...if one likes history/politics
and if you can stand marxist terminology
caglar keyder : state and class in turkey - a study of capitalist development (1987)
such an exciting country.... |
