24 (& other TV dramas)

Has anyone heard of seen the TV show called 24? The events of one season (or series as those across the pond like to call them) take place within one day and event occur in real time (minus commercial breaks). So the first episode of the season say begins at midnight, then 24 epsidoes later, the last episode ends at midnight.

Its quite interesting. I just spent about 8 hours finishing 1/3 of the 2nd season, where the word Cyprus is mentioned all too often (about a terrorist recording allegedly taking place on the island) hehe. I recommend it's quite good, but only to watch on DVD. I don't think it would be possible to wait a whole week to find out what happens next!

Can't stand it... people have raved to me about it, but I've found it impossible to get into. Now if you're talking about CSI (Vegas), CSI (NYC) or Law and Order... now you're talking classy shows.

i agree at first i didnt want to watch it but then i rented the first season and dvd (so watched from the beginning) and now im hooked on it.

i still think ALias is better because of jennifer garner but i must say the best drama series hands down is LOST

lost is good writing. maybe overdoing it sometimes but much better than half the crap out there.

oh and the best Law & Order is SUV. I didn't have time to catch the 4 version (trial by jury) but it got cancelled after a few weeks so guessing it wasnt so great Smile
