I read this a few days ago and i have some very mixed thoughts about it.
I understand the greek goverments need to keep asylum seekers numbers down and having little faith in if they are genuine but then i also see the point of those that are genuinely tortured and want to get away but none the less the EU rules are rules and they should abide by them.
I found the bit about 120 had been proven to be tortuured and then only a few got the right to stay as shocking at best, for that the goverment has a lot to answer for. |
