Scaremongering sprang to mind with over dramatic ideas of the future, its like going to the movies and watching a sci fi movie, it is fiction but possible one day i guess. |

You think its scaremongering?
I think its very real and its probably closer then 10 years.
It doesn't necessarily mean something bad though regarding the media, but it brings us closer to something else which I find really scary and that's the 'Big Brother is watching you' - always and everywhere. They know your habits, where you go, what you buy,read,eat etc etc |

I know but in the UK (recent investigations have shown UK top of the list on this) we have got used to it, at the moment every where i go in my neighbourhood is watched by rotating cameras and crime levels have fallen considering that last year there was 2 fatal stabbings and countless violent confrontations which are all now non-existant hence that is why it does not worry me but if ever it comes to the point that it intrudes into my life then i will move to another country i guess. |
