Hi 
I am part of a biocommunal group that is called the Bold Leaders.
The group was created in 2003.
Now we seek to expant our projects and our meetings with other biocommunal groups in Cyprus
I am posting here beacuse I know that this is a side about peace..soo I guessed that sm of u would know the other bicommunal groups and sm1 will help me get intouch with them.

could you share some more info about your group with us ?
what projects did you do up to now ?
as for meetings, people here are always available...that is if anyone of this group is currently in berlin  |

Well its a program that takes place in the States..Basically for 3 years now every summer 30-40 gsc and tsc r chosen to go to a camp in Colorado that is about conflict resolution..There we have all sorts of activities that r ment to get the 2 communities together..also to help teenagers of cyprus to find their voice and be bold!!

Well when we come to cyprus all the "family" gets together and we do projects that will help our communities! Last month we had a beach cleaning in Limassol!! We had an article in Filileftheros..! Now we r working on sm flyers that will make the cypriot ppl to start thinking bout the whole "divided island" situation... We keep trying to make our group known to the public soo ppl will see and understand our cause and wht this island needs!
Well we thought that it was time to get involved with other bicommunal groups in cyprus...the more the better! Isnt that wht they say?! |

that is for sure
well, for one keep us updated on whatever projects you do. even though a number of forum members are either permanently or semi-permanently abroad, i know that a number of us would like to join you people (meetings or projects) when we are there.
second why dont you give us a link of your article ? (or post an english translation of it, so the rest of the forum members can read it)
and a question now to all you bold leaders : what reactions did you get from your fellow students and friends for your participation in this program ? did you make any attempts to increase the 30-40 group by bringing each at least one friend (remember the more the better )? if, yes how did it go ?
in short, do you see the people at your age willing to join you ?

| This may come as a shock to some people here but I fully support this idea. If you young people can get together and change the thinking that has dogged us for many years, more power to your elbow. |

Best of luck Isa and Bold Leaders. Though I am a teenager, i happen to be 43 years old , so like all the other oldies here it seems I cannot join your group. Whatsmore, we better not join because in our majority Cypriots tend to lose our heads becoming gradually stubborn like Cyprus donkeys as we get older, especially with regards to politics.So my advise is that no person over 25 should join you!
What we can do however is provide any help we can from the outside, though you lot should keep a close eye on us not to poison you with some of our ideas...
