Protest March on 17/7/06(Monday) against Israel's Occupation

The protest march titled END OF ISRAEL's MURDERING OCCUPATION, SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE OF PALESTINE & LEBANON, which has been so far supported by Workers Democracy, YKP, TKP, KSP, KISA, Baraka Cultural Center, Youth against Nationalism, Federation of Environmental and Ecological Groups, Hands Across Divide, Palestinian and Arab activists, will begin with a gathering on 17/7/06, Monday at 1830 hours, in front of PASYDY (civil servant union?) central building and begin a march to the embassy of Israel. The Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon in which hundreds of civilians have died will be protested, solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon will be expressed.

For the protest, there will be a meeting at the Ledra Palace for the attendants coming from North at 1800 hours and will join the rest at the gathering point. For Turkish Cypriots, more information can be obtained from: Murat Kanatlý (0542 852 8446).
