Hade when we gonna go to a bouzoukia to drink and dance.

I get so many people tell me that i only like music because my wife is Greek ,,,,, God they are so wrong

I have an mp3 player in my Taxi and it is full of Zembekika
I like a bit of Tsiftetelia as well but Zembekika is Real quality.

I wish i understood more greek than i do but music is a language that everyone can understand

I am well thanks for asking.

Trance music is described here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trance_music

So merge some trance with zeimbekiko music and lay some rap lyrics over the top (preferably alternating between Greek and Turkish cypriot dialects) - and you have the next ayia nappa 'scene' and a reinvigoration of zeimbekiko for the yoof (youth) generation. Thus avoiding it's death.

Hmmmm i think i prefer the traditional stuff as it has some resemblance to our lives , very exciting but very dramatic

About the Ayia Napa scene ,, well i have asked my father inlaw why he dosen't play greek music in his club and he didn't realy answer but insisted that he plays music for the europeans

Cyprus Rules ,,,, Life is what you make of it

The harder you work the more succesfull you are

When an obstacle presents itself you Deal with it.

Thats why we grow stronger every day that goes by

Lets hope our people can learn from our mixed marriage that in reality we are not different but very unique in that we practise what we preach

time the politicians did the same

Is it wise to promote an antagonistic view when the subject of the mixing of marriage between T/c's & G/'s can or should be seen as an attempt to bring the barriers down between the two peoples.

How it can be seen as an act of Treason by the biggoted few is beyond me and i wonder whether there is a difference if the male is greek and the female is turkish ?

Is it seen as a more acceptable union if the male is greek ?

I wonder what any difference it would make?
