The rule used to be - hit any part of the tree and it's 4 runs... they'll probably stick with that. Problem would be that if you hit the branches, it would almost certainly be going for 6, so it would effectively be a penalty. |

Don't be so sure... if they'd absolutely slaughtered the Aussies yesterday I think England would have the momentum going into the final test, but they didn't, it was another scrape through.
I agree that England now have the upper hand, but should Australia win the next match, they will retain the Ashes as current holders, so it's still all to play for. Depends if Glenn McGrath is fit and whether Simon Jones' injury heals up by then. |
