You know DIAM’S ? she is a rather new Cyprus born french rap star. She is well loved in France. She is a bit of a Missy Eliot wanna be but she is very likable

she was introduced to me by my cab driver who was chatting me up where I am from etc. and there was this really French rap song on. And he said.. “you are from chypre? Woo. She is from Cyprus tooo! The singer” of course I didn’t believe him at the time and I thought he was pulling my leg. French flirting is always lame but this was just weird! Hihihih turns out she really is form Cyprus. Not my fav kind of musics but ok. Apparently she speaks of Cyprus a lot.

i didn't know tracey emin was cypriot. I thought she was half turkish (mainland turkey)....?
