Bug fixes to the 'view new pictures since last visit'

There were a couple of problems with the 'view new pictures since last visit' found at the top of the index page.

The first is easy to explain. If there were more than 12 such new pictures, clicking on the link to see them should have shown the last 12 and then given you an option ot view 'page 2' for the next 12 and so on. This was not working before but should be working now.

The second problem is a bit harder to explain. Originaly the 'forum' decided if a picture was new since you last visit by comparing the date / time of your last visit against the creation date of any approved pictures and those with a creation date (and approved) > your last visit were listed.
The problem with this was a senario where User A logs on an uploads a picture. It is not yet approved by a mod/admin. User B joins the forum. The picture was not listed as a new one since last visit because it was not approved. User B logs out. A mod then approves new picture. User B comes back and the pictiure is still not listed as a new picture since last visit, because actualy is creation date was before user B's latest visit (it just was not approved at that point).

Anyway if you followed the above this too has now been fixed, by adding a new field in the album database that is 'time pic is approved' and this is now used to determine if a picture is new realtive to a given user, rather than pic creation date that was used before.

So the two problems above should now be solved (I hope)

There is however a new little 'bug' that has appeared as a result of these changes. Basicaly the pictures 'rating', if it has one is not shown on the 'new pictures since last visit' page. Not a major problem and I will try and get this sorted in due course as well.

i dont know about anyone else...but now, i dont get anything when someopne posts a picture in tehir album....like depurples ics of bagdadis...i only saw them cos of the post in teh bagdadis thread

Er actually it wasnt working before (well it was but it was also 'auto approving' any new pics to the public gallaries - an unwanted side affect)

I think I have got it working now without such side affects Smile
