This new version by steven spielberg and starring Tom cruise was a very decent remake with all the latest special effects, i liked it.

It was pretty good but i didnt like the ending at all Evil or Very Mad

I like the 70's muscial/audio version myself. Great cast.

Not seen this new movie yet.

I assume you're talking about the Jeff Wayne version Erol... if so, it's awesome.

Do you know that this story of 'World of the wars' was actually first broadcasted from an American Radio station back in the time when there used to be story telling from the radio? When it was broadcasted it was the time that most Americans were coming back from work and they were shocked hearing it when they turned on the radio and started running in the streets thinking there was a mars invasion for real.

Very true, Orson Wells was criticised for causing mass panic on the streets. Having listened to his broadcast, it was a piece of genius and would have sounded most convincing at the time.

I am indeed. Great stuff. Richard Burton is superb in a overall wondeful work.

Well i liked the movie and here is a mouth waterer, look out for the fields of red??????

Great movie and believable to a point.
