Nope. That's Tolis Voskopoulos with Marinella (I think it's her - not sure Confused. But the guy is Voskopoulos, for sure.)

How sure are you about it. Well i found 'Kamaroulla mia stalia' among one of mitropanos compilation albums but is also present in his just second album in 1971 http://www.alimono.com/04/titloi04.htm

We are actually both wrong. The song 'Kamaroula Mia Stalia' was originally sung by Giannis Poulopoulos and Mairi Chronopoulou in the 1968 movie 'Gorgones Kai Magkes'.

Obviously, Mitropanos liked the song so much that he recorded a cover a few years later.

It's greek, of the Rembetiko era. Markos Vamvakaris's greatest piece, imo.

Oh, I've always been told it was a Cypriot song... hmmm... Sad

I remember watching Xristofias dancing along to it on last year's telethon show... wasn't a pretty sight Very Happy
