I read Noam's observations. His description of the events, as far as I'm concerned, are founded in fact, reflecting a view which promotes one people and one state, which, if it is Greek Cypriot propaganda, supports the view of all nations, except Turkey, who for reasons of its' own, would prefer Cyprus to be incapable of expressing a will as one people.
Racist comments about this person's ethnic origin reveal a bias for the status quo that has mired all Humankind in a dispicable state of starvation and disease, denied by the relatively few who live in enough comfort to complain about their own concerns.
I believe that Cypriots would gladly 'sacrifice' the justice they seek if it could provide for Mankind a way toward forgiveness and a new way of living, which is an affront to those who would leave the suffering of others to continue.
Jews and Arabs, like other belligerants, need an example that works. Cyprus, a crossroad for so many civilisations is really well suited for world attention toward such a resolution because as an island it is isolated and its' population, so far, is small. |

Sorry for the late reply, just noticed that now.
Bullika, next time could you be so kind and put a warning if you link to pictures like that? Thank you.
re. Noams article I would say its a bit 'messy'. Some is certainly serious statements and facts while other parts are exaggerated and biased imo.
Also it sounds like its not his own thoughts on the subject, but rather sort of hearsay.

i know its pretty sick what these israelis get up to. and this guy has the cheek to complain about the turks.
do most turkish cypriots feel they are being occupied illegally? i think not.
ask the same question to a bunch of palestinians and they'll think you`re taking piss. |
