I am a 'gillette' man
I use the 'mach3' range of blades with one of the 'vibrating' handles and prefer gillette 'gel' as a shaving foam.
I use the 'upstroke' (against the grain of beard) technique, and use warm / hot water to rinse blade with. |

Not really. Just fancied a distraction from some of the 'heavier' topics that have been around recently.

The Brazilian Wax!
Oh for me I thought my girlfriend:
The Ronson Wet/Dry electric shaver are the best BUT you have to shave everyday and change the blades every 3/4 months: Quick and easy:
You can shave with this one with soap as well:
I have a great mustache I inherited from my grandmother and decided to shave it off the the Ronson did the job: |

The same, albeit non-vibrating variety. But I'm a 'downstroke' man |

I use the first generation of Mach3, what's a vibrating handle Erol? Is this one of the more recent products?
I really do not like that gel stuff, tried it once. I go for the good old white foam only.

It depends really. For example, now that I'm in a "incubation" period (i.e. finishing my PhD thesis ), I have not shaved in 2 weeks I guess. But normally, 3 times a week. |

It basically has a battery in it and 'vibrates' slightly to improve the shave (apparently),
more details here

I use the older cheaper 'standard' M3 blades however.
On frequency I generally wait until my beard is annotingly itchy before shaving these days - which is about every 10 days for me. |

| I too am a Mach 3 person. I shave about every two days. My favorite shaves though are the ones I get in Turkey. Old fashion shave in an old fashion barber shop. Love the hot towels. |

Many years ago a barber set up a topless men hair dressing salon shop in a town called Frankston BUT because on so many guys almost getting their ears cut off it was closed down:
I had the fortunate chance to go their 3 times in one week for shave and my face was like the bum of a new born baby:
I did get poked in the eye a couple of times BUT so what it was worth it! |

Not had the full barber shave (in fact thinking about it I can not recall ever having been shaved by someone else) but I did get quite alarmed at my first north Cyprus hair cut when the baber started dabbing my cheeks and ears with a lit flaming bit of cotton wool on a stick ! |

I must admit that scared me a bit as well. But I really miss the full barber shaves. They do not have them here in the states anymore. |
