what ever happened to peace-cyprus.org?

the website is still there, bu they seem to have been inactive for some time now.

THey did really good things like bicommunal parties, for mixed villages, etc...

What happened to the guys organising the stuff, does anyone know?

Did they have a bust up? or just run out of steam and money?

I would guess they ran out of cash. E-Mail them and find out.

They probably got fed up with things going nowhere and the constant arguments about the same old issues... not the only ones I'm sure. Wink

I know Panayiotis Zaphiris, one of the founders of the forum. He used to be a college student when they started it, now he's a full time university lecturer. My guess is that they all - like him - moved to other things, and noone has been found to replace them.

I know/have heard of two Panayiotis Zafirises: one lives in England and is a chippy owner (*cough no surpise cousgh wheeze*) and the owner of the Learn Greek Kypros site.

By any chance is the one you refer to the same as one of those to?
