Well, I'd assume that once this moves out of the experimental phase, Erol will make it very visible from the portal page or so? But till then, perhaps Tufan has a point. |

To be honest I am gageing effect on my personal internet usage slowly.
I might run it for a few days like this before making it more visible.

I moved here in 2002 and have been hearing that DSL is ariving soon for ages.
Our problems are not only 'internal' wiring though. We have very limited connectivity out from the Republic of Northern Cyprus, as I understand it. There is fiber but it all runs to the Turkish state telco - which I believe has recently been largely privatised (51% share bought by large business family?). Compared with the south we have almost no external connectivty. The Republic of Cyprus has a very good network of different fiber runs into it form various places as I recall. It is one resource that is a lot more abundant and availble in the Republic of Cyprus than the north. |

I heard the news about the ADSL from the (in Turkish) discussion forum of the GENC tv (1). From there, I learned that there is a bidding process going on about it from the state. You can check the status of the bid which will run till the end of year from (2) (also in Turkish), the ministry of finance. Once you manage to improve your Turkish  , you can also read the technical details from the same location.

| That is a small problem with the camera placed as it is. At night with the light on in the room the camera shows the relfection of the room it is in in the window and not through it. I 'll go and turn the light of and the view will return to outside not inside. |

Glad you like it 2fan 
I should warn you however that I may soon move the camera position to face south towards the mountains as it is a better view. I just need to find the best window to use and run some ethernet cable to it. |
