How much do you guys think I paid for these brand new trainers?

CYP£25, including postage from the UK!!!!!!! Welcome to eBay!!!!!!! See my actual bid here.

Cypriots could never bid for anything because they couldn't register for a service called paypal, which is basically the only way to pay for something after you've won it. Now they can open paypal accounts!!! Paypal keeps your credit card details secure and pays the sellers for you. Paypal also gives £500 purchase protection but you will never need it because eBay members have ranks which show how satisfied buyers are with them, if you stick to people with high ranks (pretty much everyone) you will be safe!!!!!

Cyprus has such a rip-off culture and hitting the shops without checking eBay first is just stupid!!! Even bill Clinton's ex-house was for sale on eBay and Cypriots can bid for it Very Happy Smile Seriously though, I found some really cheap stuff and delivery is only £7-8 usually.

okay is there anyone in here who is selling in ebay?

i know what paypal doesn’t support Cyprus accounts to receive money and i have a problem now with some sites I’m about to open that needs a payment gateway and I’m thinking to use a Greece bank account to use paypal.

Does anyone had the same problem and did manage to solve it and how?

Out of interest, what language are the inscriptions on the shoes in?

That might seem an odd question, but we bought two pairs of running shoes from eBay and the inscriptions turned out to be in Chinese Shocked Laughing

They were about 2/3 of the "shop price"; despite that and the Chinese text they were genuine, as they have lasted splendidly ...

Lots of fakes on ebay. Watchdog had a program about it last week.
