Re, I'm still perplexed. Could someone please explain the relationship between the state and religion in a Turkish society? I would just like to know...

| Resp, I suggest you to read the definition of Lacism. I think it is the best that suits the Turkish case. Secularism is a bit different. |

Re file, I'm not asking for definitions. Nor am I trying to offend somebody or pass a political message. I am interested in this from an academic point of view. Just want to know how religion interacts with the state in Turkey. Could someone please provide a link that explains this or something? |
