In Turkey peaches are called sheftali. What are they called in Cyprus? Greek and Turkish Cypriots.

But we call 'mandalin' something different, to us it is 'yusufcuk'.

And 'kus burnu' is 'ayreli'.

Mandaline is from the english language and no prise for what it is.

And 'kus burne' or in Turkish Cypriot 'ayreli' originates from Greek Cypriot dialect and is asparagus.
