The President of the Republic of Cyprus Tasos Papadopulos stated that the current form of the Annan Plan couldn’t be a basis for solution to the Cyprus Issue, Cyprus newspaper Phileleftheros reports. He emphasizes that the Turkish community wishes to continue the negotiations on the Cyprus Issue believing that this could happen on the basis of the UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan’s Plan for the unification of the island.
