C4C event calls on UK Cypriots to discuss a Cypriot-led solution to the Cyprus issue
UK Cypriot campaign group Cypriots for Cyprus (C4C) is bringing together leading Cypriot politicians and activists to discuss how a Cypriot-led solution can win the support of all the island's people.
Coinciding with the ongoing peace process, the discussion panel event at the London School of Economics (LSE) will be centred around the theme 'Developments in the peace negotiations in Cyprus: finding a solution by Cypriots for Cypriots'.
The event will take place on Tuesday 14 October. The panel of speakers will include former President of the Republic of Cyprus George Vassiliou, President of the Cyprus EU Association Ali Erel, Co-director of Cyprus Interpeace Project Spyros Christou and renowned poet Alev Adil.
This is one of the few recent inter-communal events that have taken place in Britain and C4C invites UK Cypriots of all backgrounds to attend and participate. The event is free, open to all and admission will be on a first come, first served basis.
