I have to say that I missed this article on the cyprus mail site directly and it came to my notice in a refernce on an Republic of Northern Cyprus ex pat forum where they were using it to highlight how similar the south and the north are in this regard (so it critism against either side really and not just the Greek Cypriot side in that sense)

Generally quite a sarcastic piece but rasing some serious issues (again issues that apply to both sides and no doubt would to any united cyprus as well).
Have to say the following sarcasm did bring a smile to my lips
Quote: Let’s wait and see whether Mr Lillikas will succeed in forming a professional team out of a community of friends, relatives and related friends.
and
Quote: Foreign investors would appreciate not needing to know somebody in the government or having a relative or a related friend there.
