Stavros Flatly is the stage name for the two Greek Cypriot dancers who went to the show to dance their own version of irish river dance.

You've got to see the father (Demetris, 40) and the son (Lakis, 12), I will say no more, you've got to see it. they are absolutely hillarious.

Enjoy :)

...'of course we are Greeks we are Cypriots' to paraphrase the young son, it hurt me, but it did not end the pleasure of having watched their show. it just made me very sad because I know that a change must be made; it just means for all of us how far we have to go.

innocent enough but a tremor, unless we realise a way of living where in our Principal, as Cypriots we live Bicommunally: meaning that as Individuals we are One even if as Persons we have two (or several) National Assemblies in representing our distinctions. Additionally we take this issue beyond, Bizonally, so that there is the possibility of the Return of People Communally (enclaves both Turcophone and Grecophone), as well as an end to the 'fait accompli' which has left this island torn, in two.

For info Stavros Flatly won their semi final and are now through to the final of britains got talent 2009 on this comming saturday.

I youtube of their semi final performace can be found here

Personaly whilst I found their act amusing I do not think they actually deserve to be in the final.

I agree with Erol,

They went to the finals and the judges seem to love them but they didn't offer anything more from the first time in the auditions

In the final they had a better performance than the semi finals but still they cannot be compared to the dance groups flawless and diversity. These groups were amazing.

At the end Diversity won the competition, Susan Boyle came second and the trumpet player came third.
