Turkish Cypriot columnist argues that Gerhard Schroeder has undoubtedly been granted a plot of land in the occupied areas
Writing in Turkish Cypriot daily Afrika newspaper (03.02.08), Erol Atabek commends on former German Chancellor, Gerhard Schroeders visit to the occupied areas of Cyprus through the illegal Tymvou airport. Mr Atabek notes, inter alia, the following:
...Why have you come? It is not political; it has nothing to do with politics. It is commercial! E, what they agreed to give you! Could it be the Dome Hotel? A Turkish person who lives in Germany and is a former representative of a neighbourhood --a person who now is an honorary member of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP)-- has been very interested in the Dome Hotel. That is, he is living in Germany, you are also German. Therefore, I related this with Dome Hotel. Perhaps they have divided into plots for you some places in Bafra [occupied Vokolida] as well. Or in the Altin Kum [Golden Sand] beach. However, they have undoubtedly divided into plots some places for you former Herr Schroeder! Otherwise, would you come here having the advisor of Mr Tayyip by your side? What job do you have here! A, let me ask before I forget. What is the number of your Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus identity card? Or have not acquired one yet?
DP says:
Yes boys when you hear a DOG barking you know he is asking for a bone!
Cherie Blair got one from Turkey 200,000 pounds+ to support a POM against a Greek Cypriot who really owned the land and now WHAT has Schroeder been promised? Let wait and see!
How many times have we seen this?
People supporting NOT common sence and justice BY their own pockets!
cheers
Who let the DOGS out? Raulf! Raulf! Raulf! Raulf! Raulf! |

100% one thing is crossing over and the other is paying you to bark!'
If the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey paid me some BIG US$ I would support them as well: ......................................Maybe!
1: Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus a separate country:
2: Turkey against the Kurds! And joining the EU!
At the moment I am against all of the above!
Call it just plain old civilized true common sense !
cheers! |

ok my dear friend i have to agree with some of what you have said !!! but wanting the kurds in turkey to have their own bit of country is no different to the turkish cypriots in cyprus so im afraid you are contradicting your views here !!
And lastly what makes you a judge of what is civilised and what is not ? |

What is good for the goose is good for the gander!
Why should Turkey want a separate country for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and NOT want to give the Kurds one! That is the question on every-ones minds!
What I say is that IF Turkey gives me money or some palm grease I will support them in WHAT EVER idiotic ideas they have! Like Schoder and Cherie have done!
cheers!
What make me the judge?
I have been a Justice of the Peace for over 20 years and have been on the human rights committee for East Timor and the Aborigines in custody, I am also a member of Greenpeace and Sea Sheppard Conservation and I am currently being considered for a position with Amnesty International!
BUT Hey who am I to judge others!
ALL I want is what is legally and ancestrally theirs! AND nothing ELSE! |

Somebody once vastly underestimated the political/humanitarian activities of Depurple. A very embarrassing mistake that you shouldn't make.
DP might not be more civilised but he is doing alot more for our insignificant little island that he lets on.
Cyprus has been 'whored' out for political adjendas for as long as I have read back in history. Politics has changed since them days but the theory still remains the same. |

Thanks CTD and also 100%C for both of your supports and comments:
At the moment I am very lucky because the Labor Party has won and I am sure that they will do more than than the Liberals and hopefully support a just solution for Cyprus and ALL Cypriots:
The new Foreign affairs minister The Honorable Mr Steven Smith and Minister of Trade Mr Simon Cream I know very well: I just waiting for them to settle into their new jobs and then I will contact them about Cyprus:
All I will say is that we want a just solution for all living in Cyprus:
A united Cyprus and equality for all:
Of coarse I will be telling them to make sure Turkey and others take their military out and make Cyprus a NO WEAPONS ISLAND!
I think the more people raise the issues about the Cyprus problem out in the open the more people will want something done:
Look at East Timor:
When we went on the very first protest march in 1976 everyone thought we where crazy! But in the end 200million Indonesians gave in!
BUT what did Indonesia do with the other minorities living there?
They made there lives a misery!
They ruined the Bali economy by bombing them:
They also destroyed the Ache infrastructure:
They did this SO no one else asked for Independence!
So can you imagine what Turkey would do IF the Turkish Cypriot said HEY we want a United Cyprus?
The problem with Turkey is that it is bombing between the Devil and the Deep Blue sea!
If it supports a separate Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus then it must give the Kurds a country as well:
It cant do one without the other and the world knows this!
Everyone knows Turkey supports Kosovo, Macedonia, Thrace and other minorities But will not support the Kurds, Bali, Tamils and others!
Well in politic who know what will happen!
So boys hassle everyone you know about Cyprus and you never know one day they might get off their arse and do something!
Don't expect the Cypriot Politicians in the Republic of Cyprus & Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to do anything! WHY?
Because they have the most to loose!
cheers and thanks!
PS Did you see those scums Japaneses kill the mother whale and its calf!
Tomorrow we are outside the Japanese consulate in Melbourne voicing our concerns! You watch The Japs will back off one day!
But hey it is ONLY for research!
Apparently they do their research with a knife and Fork!
OR should I say with chopsticks!

oh hey i wanted to say good on you, mates; about the whales. it cost hundreds of thousands, if not millions, to follow the "research" the Japanese are doing.
thank-you once again Australia.
dp, i hope that my vision of the word 'bizonal' means something to you, and if you get a chance please support an idea like it where communities can be kept whole, at least for some. |

RW bizonal is OK if I can go live in Lapta without any discrimination:
I don't CARE who runs the place as long as we ALL are part of the EU family!
cheers and keep up the good work!
PS The Japs lost WW2 but now they attack what cant fight back! The poor whales! |
