There can never be a solution to Cyprus if there is no:
1: Freedom of Movement:
2: Freedom of Goods exchange:
3: Freedom of Religion:
4: Freedom of Speech:
5: Freedom of Capital Investments:
1a: Isn't in better for Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot to go on holidays throughout the island instead of going and spending their money overseas?
2a: Isn't it better for Greek Cypriot & Turkish Cypriot to sell there produced goods to each other than Import or sell it for peanuts to Greece and Turkey?
3a: Isn't it better to leave religion OUT of the Cyprus equation? Look at the Republic of Cyprus there are 1000s Moslem's working in the Republic of Cyprus that Pray EVERYDAY to Allah and it doesn't then so why hassle the Turkish Cypriot on the other side and vise-versa?
4a: Just listen to the music of today and the BBC & CNN they don't give a shit about what people think and say so why should the Republic of Cyprus & Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus?
AND don't forget Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot overseas BAG their own politicians BUT when they get back to Cyprus they are just another brick in the WALL!
5a: Isn't it BETTER that Greek Cypriot invest in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkish Cypriot in the Republic of Cyprus then having the Poms and the Russian Mafia do it? What are we doing? SELLING Cyprus for peanuts to these losers!
I would invest $1,000,000 in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus IF I wasn't going to be called a traitor discriminated by my own people!
Also how many Greek and Turks would invest money in Cyprus if given the chance?
AND then how many Greek Cypriot & Turkish Cypriot would like to invest in Turkey and Greece given the chance!
I wouldn't mind opening up a bar in Atayllia or somewhere opposite Kyrenia!

Point 3&4 allready exists in the free areas of Cyprus and it has improved significantly in the occupied areas.
Freedom of movement the barrier is obvious,
Freedom of goods exchanged and capital investement, I am not quite sure what you mean. What sort of freedom, freedom like within a country or freedom like North and South are two different countries at import and export and Cypriots investing in the 'other' side are considered foreign investors! |

Does anyone know?
4: How many time has Levant Sener been fire bombed and threaten by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus?
How many times does POLITICI newpapers get sued and threatened?
So maybe 3 & 4 does exist BUT I cant see it! cheers |
