Erdal Inonu, the son of Ismet Inonu who was the succeeding president after Mustafa Kemal Ataturk of the Republic of Turkey, ex-vice pm, ex-mfa, a theoretical physicist in the area of nuclear physics, a true social democrat, honorary leader of the SHP, leader and unifier of the left wing Turkish political parties after the dark period of fascist 1980 military coup of Kenan Evren, has passed away today in Houston, USA where he was being treated for cancer.
We are extremely sad and mourning over his death. |
