Hopefully we can have better cohesion between our partners. With nationalism and religious zealotry on a waxing path, European states must stand together if they hope to safeguard the values that they cherish and espouse.
We must not let petty differences create divides which could lead to fragmentation and indecisiveness at critical moments. History waits for no one. |

at least they have agreed something, but they really needed a proper constitution to be honest. It needed to replace all the old stuff.
The problem is that it is still too long and full of jargon. They need a simple document(or as simple as possible) so that it is easy to understand. 100+ pages or whatever is just too long.
At least now europe can look outside its own borders; start pushing some weight around internationally rahter than be bogged down in internal affairs. |
