Hello

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get married at the villa you are staying in? We are looking to spend 2 weeks next August and would like to get married but without all the fuss usually associated with weddings!

Can anyone recommend a wedding planner? We are going to be staying in the Coral Bay area.

Thanks

Hi rome1067 and welcome to the forum.

I believe you will have to ask the person in charge (local town hall) if he/she is willing to hold the ceremony in a different location.

Unfortunately I can not recommend anyone (lack of experience :) ) but a google search with 'Cyprus wedding' should bring up lots of helpful sites.
Or just call the local authority and ask.

Wishing you the best of luck!

erm, 100%cypriot, the new member asked a serious question and since I assume you don't know her/him I don't think your comment is appropriate. :(

I know that it's meant to be fun but you never know how a person takes such kind of 'joke'.

Thats ok, after 13 years together I am wondering the same!! I'm starting to panic already and its not even booked yet

I just want something really relaxed at the villa where we can all just chill afterwards so fingers crossed that I get what I want. One wedding planner has been in touch and said it is possible and then another said its not!
