Its raining cats and dogs in Cyp! Since early last night it must have precipitated more rain than the whole winter. Feel sorry for the tourists who came for the sea and the glorious Cyprus weather.
Paradox: On Monday the thermometer recorded a soaring 38 degrees C. in Nicosia. |

| You must be a paid agent of the enemy, Alexios. Without the tourists (especially those we love to hate) our economy will crumble and lucky you and me will probably emigrate to our favourite island ... |

Come on Bananiot...i remember we got paid together at you know which embassy, just before the referendum...!!! You were the one with the huge dark glasses and the long blond wig...
Our economy will not crumble because just before the elections we shall be extracting oil from the southern shores and discover huge quantities of gold in Troodos..... |

I have a vague recollection of a pseudo priest but I thought he was the Bishop of Paphos and now Archbishop of all bananiots, who went on a money begging spree so that he could pay, as he promised, all the "no" supporters. Eventually, he got by, promising to keep a place in heaven for them. It cost him nothing.
The part about kissing your hand is an exaggeration. It has to be. The only hand I kiss is that of my angloamerican masters. |

I really thought the summer had come early this year and I was sooooooooooooooo happy.
Even though we really need the rain etc etc etc I BLOODY HATE IT!!
Could nt it just rain at night when I am tucked up cosy in my bed and then be nice and sunny in the day time......... ;-) |

| :D weather is going crazy here as well. Had 30 degrees C here in April then absolutely no rain for a few weeks - the farmers already started worrying for this years harvest - and this week it was raining a lot. Like the nature wants to make up for what it missed in April  |
