If Greece, Turkey and Cyprus made the finals of the World CUP who would you support? They would be playing each other!
Turkey vs Cyprus!
Cyprus vs Greece!
BUT there is one clause!
The Cypriot team is mixed with Greek Cypriot & Turkish Cypriot playing!

There will come a day when Cyprus will play Turkey and Greece and you will see what NAMES and SLURS the Greeks & Turks will call a United Cyprus Team!
If it is anything like Australia the Greeks always called the Cypriots............ DONKEYS!

In the past & current climates, it would have to be Turkey.
Me personally, it will take many years of good will and actions to reverse the lack of trust or hope I have in building any loyalty to a united team.
A united team...very hard to imagine. Would be interesting to watch, maybe as an exhibition match or something. I'm genuinely trying to picture it, but I'm struggling.
A true united team with any due credit can only exist after all the other political bullshit is resolved. Until then, pro unionist's can keep dreaming :?
Ideally, if you had an option of a Turkish Cypriot team, then that would be my first choice :wink: |

What about a match next month: a team with Cypriot boys, another with boys from the Turkish army and a third with boys from Greece?
BTW, as Talat and Christofias is about to arrange a football match soon; I wonder if they will play in the same team... |

Cyprus every time! (And I can not wait for the day It becomes a unified team!!).
But, if Cyprus wasn't playing, like what happened in Euro 2004, I would support Greece, like I did in 2004...
