Thanks Erolz, I agree with you but there is an essential difference with what you and Clerides are saying and what Dinglis is saying... that is he states as a fact that Papadopoullos wrote it.
This is sort of the same argument about the US sponsoring the YES vote during Anan. Well maybe they did, maybe they didn't but if they did ofcourse they would of kept it secret. |

Here I disagree with you. To my mind there is a large amount of credible evidence that points to TP's involvement in and knowledge of the Akritas plan. In the case of the US paying Greek Cypriot to vote yes to the Annan plan (which is very different to 'sponsoring' it btw) there is no such credible evidence that I am aware of. Another key difference for me is that TP has never denied his involvement in the Akritas plan, where as the UN and the USA have both swiftly and categorically denied the accusations that they paid Greek Cypriot to vote yes in the referendum.
I really do not like this 'thesis' that absolute definite knowledge one way or another about an issue does not exits so therefore ALL possibilities are EQUALLY likely. Absolute knowledge may not exits but that does not mean that you can not reasonably say the greatest possibility is by far and away X and that all available evidence supports X and not Y. In the case of TP's involvement with the Akritas plan X is clearly (to me) that he was involved in it and Y that he was not. In the case of the USA paying Greek Cypriot to vote yes X is that they did not do this and Y is that they did. |

| Papadopoulos was the ideal canditate to write the Plan. He was a staunch supporter of enosis and a sick Turk hater. He was a close associate of Yiorgatzis and was involved up to his neck in the sad events of 1963 and there after. |
