He he he...Yet again, Turkish officials manage to humiliate themselves to the rest of the world...I mean, if they go at this rate with banning things, they will have to ban cars because "Turks" die in car accidents...
The funny thing is, not all ISPs in Turkey route through TTNet (however, all dsl traffic is through TTNet). Even if it was the case, even my 13 year old cousin knows that a it takes a proxy (eg. http://anonymouse.org/) to go around it...
Anyway, the video is apparently about Ataturk. It is supposed to say not so pleasant things about him, therefore, through 301, the publication is (attempted to be) "silenced".
I just read that YT removed the video but the ban is still there. Perhaps they will lift it in a day or two but the damage is already done...Of course, this is a victory for many many minds in Turkey... |
