Gul: If any New Conditions Proposed, We'll Turn Back
Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul has challenged the European Union in a statement to the British business magazine The Economist, saying, "If they present new conditions, we'll turn back and leave."

I cant wait for October!!! LOL
if anything, if turkey do not decide to join, then France/Germany etc... are the ones who come off good cos they didnt have to veto...'it was turkeys decision' they could say. |

Be sure that if Turkey decide to step back they will have enough reasons to show that the EU done double standards to throw them into turmoil, but do you really think that will happen? |

If I dont remember wrong, last time Erdogan decide to leave EU, It was EU who stopped him.
But when we are trying to enter, suddenly they began to this game. |

You're right Murtaza. Suddenly the goal posts are being moved again after all the promises that have been made. I do not expect anything else from some of the EU countries that have used Turkey for such a long time.Austria still has a vendetta against us for knocking on Vienna's gates almost half a millennium ago. What a shame. |
