I have heard from some greek cypriot friends of mine that a spurs fan club has been set up in the south with members from both communities.

can anyone shed some light on this ?

Sorry mate but i have to agree with Khan on this one, with one hand they stroke you while the other hand is slapping you, it really does become counterproductive when even in sport they use political terms.

I believe its good that they make it clear. Its not self-evident that any club or whatever on either side welcomes members from the other side.
They could have chosen a better wording though...
