Hi, my husband & I went to Cyprus last year looking to purchase a property, what a nightmare!
There are so many agents operating illegally, even some of the big names do not have licenses as required by Cyprus law. Any way we spent a week looking around being led up the garden path because people did not listen to what we wanted.
Then I remembered a company in England that I found on the web and decided to contact them for help. What a relief.. they were fantastic and could not do enough for us, even at such short notice. Someone came to our hotel, listened to what we were looking for and the following day we were shown properties that matched our criteria.
Within 2 days we had decided to buy one of the properties this company showed us and again they held our hand all the way though the legal process and negotiations with the vendor.
Whats more, this service was all free to us! When we asked how they actually did this we were told that they receive a marketing fee from the registered estate agent they use in Cyprus who is licensed by the way.
