Interesting section on BBC News Online: Brits abroad
2/3 as many again in Cyprus as in Turkey? More than twice as many in Cyprus as in Italy? More than three times as many in Cyprus as in Sweden ... ?
(It is not made clear what "Cyprus" actually is - whole or one part or the other).
Also a very insightful analysis and an executive summary of the full report, plus some fascinating spatial demographic mapping. |

The most interesting feature of that is the small cluster around Inverness, of all places (700 miles away from the main concentration)! |

| Of course these figures dont count London born Cypriots. I would guess real figure is more like 250,000 Cypriots. |

The rate they are growing soon will be more than the Turkish Cypriots who are approx. 100.000 if I am not mistaken.
Perhaps we should consider union with Britain as well or partition in three. |
