Really people, forget about the Cyprus issue... this is the kind of stuff that makes my hair stand...
I can't decide which of this is worse.. the illiteracy, the poverty, the middle age mentality or the actual title of the article.
Really, Turkey needs to thoroughly fix its house before suggesting how things should be run in other people's houses.
On the good side, the article is positive. But I bet there are many unwritten articles which do not detail such positive outcomes. |

Unfortunately this is a tribal thing mainly in the southeast practised by the kurds.
On monday 13 November when my wife was dropping our children to school with her friend they suddenly heard a commotion next to them and turned to see a kurdish women they knew in a very heated debate with her husband, (my wifes words) 'then suddenly he just pulled out this knife and stuck it in her again and again and there was blood everywhere, my friend fainted and i was just shaking and scared out of my mind, i dragged my friend so we could be further away when i think his last blow was to her head with the knife, it all happened so quick'.
This was in Enfield/London. |

The kids had just gone in and they were on their way out of the school gates when they stopped to see what the commotion was about, the women is in critical condition and in intensive care as she took a severe blow to the head from the knife and she is under police guard and protection as is her children, the husband is still at large and on the run and police are feverishly looking for him.
It will be in the Enfield local papers this week which comes out on Thursday. |
