Nice one! Another scam (which seems to have ramped up tremendously in the past few weeks) is the organisation collecting clothes for Eastern Europe (usually) which is not a charity.
They have got a bit more sophisticated from the days when they gave Hotmail email addresses and mobile phone numbers as contacts, and the leaflets are more subtly worded, but they are working for profit.
With the number of leaflets I have received through the door recently, I could probably have given the contents of the house away 5 or 6 times :) |
