Sorry to hear this - as if in sympathy today has been uncommonly dark ("bad light" at The Oval in the middle of the afternoon!) and the Union Flag is at half-mast over Lambeth Town Hall (in commemoration of another 11/9).

| On a barely lighter note, how is little brother, probably yearning and mourning for moose. |

Appologies for not posting updates sooner. I will try and get Karin to post one later today, as she is much more involved with his care than I am and put some new piccies up. |

| Hi this is Karin with an update on Brother, Erol will post some new photos to follow. It is getting more noticeable now that Brother is not a 'baby' anymore but a young cat, he shrieks from his basket from the moment I get up the morning to be let out to join the fun... He seems to have adapted to the loss of Moose, made easier because he is not in his basket so much anymore, instead out and about all over the place. The main problem is at night when he has to be shut in and has no one to cuddle up to, I put a hot water bottle in to comfort him. He is totally fearless about climbing all over the dogs, and going up to the bigger cats and trying to give them a swipe! He wants to eat his food with the older kittens and when he's finished his eat theirs as well. Like most kittens he is still "wearing" as much of the food as he is eating. He now weighs a healthy 512g, and with an average gain of 10g a day it looks good for him. (He has also now figured out what the litter tray is for!). |
