“Cypriot in Australia calls us ‘rapists and murderers’”. The right-wing daily reports on a book currently circulating in Australian bookstores and libraries with the title The Truth Is Sour. Author Hussein Cemil, who was born in Cyprus and moved to Australia in 1974, portrays Greeks as rapists and murderers. Makarios is on the cover with the inscription “honey drips out of Makarios’ mouth and blood out of his hands”.
Anyone come across this book and whats it like. |
