| It is not necessary to have a bank account in any country but it just makes your life easier when it comes to some services and payments to various companies you will no doubt liase with like telecom, broadband etc. :wink: |

Yeah, you need a bank account... What happens when people try to pay you by cheque? In Cyprus we use cheques a lot.
If you don't plan to pay many people or receive any funds which require a bank account to be sent then don't bother. |
